Gerald
Batto, CPA is the former managing partner of Hahn, Small, Batto & Huang,
Certified Public Accountants, prior to his Firm’s recent merger into the
firm of Brehm, Havel and Company LLP. A native of D’Hanis, Texas,
he is a 1962 graduate of St Mary’s University and was admitted as a partner
to his Firm in 1966. During these years his primary emphasis has
been with veterinary hospitals and its owners, including the purchases
and sales of practices. He says, that he has seen many changes in the accounting
world from then to now with the current availability of highly efficient
computers and software that provide the accounting industry an enormous
capability for research and practice tools to support its clients.
He plans to continue to support
the merged Firms’ clients, but on a reduced schedule, so as to make more
time available to spend with his wife and all the wild life critters (large
to small, horses & deer to quail & bats) out at their country place.
