Gerald Batto, CPA is a former partner of Hahn, Small, Batto & Huang, Certified Public Accountants, prior to his Firm's merging into the Brehm, Havel and Company LLP Practice. A native of D'Hanis, Texas, he is a 1962 graduate of St Mary's University. His primary emphasis has been with veterinary hospitals and its owners, including the purchases and sales of practices. He says that he has seen many changes in the accounting world from then to now, especially with the current availability of highly efficient computers and software that provide to the accounting industry an enormous capability for research and practice tools to support its clients.
He plans to continue to support the merged Firms' clients, but on a reduced schedule, so as to make more time available for other interests.
